Elina Kreismaine

Nurse Practitioner
About Me
I am a mental health nurse by background and am currently practicing as a neurodevelopmental practitioner specialising in autism and ADHD. I have achieved a BSc (Hons) in Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, along with a Diploma in Management and Leadership.
I have extensive experience working with children, working-age adults, and older adults within access, crisis, inpatient units, and community mental health teams, managing various mental health conditions including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, psychosis, bipolar affective disorder, and neurodivergence. As part of my skills within mental health services, I have also managed intricate health systems and the day-to-day running of a service.
By working with complex individuals within the service, my main focus has been assessments, crisis management, and care planning. As part of the holistic management of individuals, I have further expanded my knowledge on subjects such as safeguarding, gender dysphoria, eating disorders, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. This has helped me develop person-centred care, treatment plans, and differential diagnoses.
I am passionate about supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions and improving overall wellbeing and quality of life. In addition to the assessment of autism, I am also particularly interested in contributing to future research and the pool of knowledge.
